After a day of walking the Great Ocean Walk, perhaps try one of the local wines that are on offer in the region.
Dinny Goonan Wines have been award a Five Star rating by James Halliday in his 2010 Wine Companion. This rating places Dinny Goonan in the top 15% of all Australian wineries. Aire Valley Restaurant and Guest House stock the Single Vineyard Shiraz 2006 (94/100 Halidays Rating), the Riesling 2008 (91/100 Halidays Rating) and the Early Harvest Riesling 2009.
Dinny Goonan Wines is in Bambra at 880 Winchelsea-Deans Marsh Road. The cellar door is open from 11am to 5pm on weekends and public holidays between November and mid-June. Open every day in January. For more information see Dinny Goonan.
Newton's Ridge 2008 Lila's Chardonnay has been awarded a Gold Medal at the 2009 Victorian Wine Show, a Silver Medal at the 2009 Ballarat Wine Show and a Silver Medal at the 2009 Bathurst Wine Show.
Wines are hand-crafted from estate grown grapes first planted in 1998. All the wines show the characteristics of grapes grown in cool climates with long ripening periods. The grapes are basket pressed and the wine is made onsite.

Peveril wines first started in 1999 when Pinot Noir, Sauvignon Blanc and Riesling vines were planted. The name Peveril is a tribute to owner Marg's three aunts, Peggy, Vera and Lil.
The vineyard is located in the Otways, not far from the Nourished - Otways Store and Museum). The climate is cool with an average rainfall of 1000mm. For more information see Peveril Vineyard.
